Rest in Peace

Lance had received Percy's gift, his cape fashioned into a cloak for CW. It was hard to believe that he was really gone, but Lance still felt the wound on his heart as if it still bled. Percy and him had such a history, that everything reminded him of that blond prince. Even Percy's mother, who attended the funeral, was saddened by the affair. Despite her disliking her son and Lance, she expressed her condolences to him.
"I always loved him, I was just unhappy with his choices." She said tearfully. "Of all my sons, I was surprised to see the eldest experiment. And at such a young age!"
"It's not like we did more than hold hands and kiss each other on the cheek Quinn," Lance said. "Although he was the reason I'm still bi."
"He went too soon," She turned and left to console her remaining sons.
Lucy sat on a chair, too drained to stand. She felt so guilty, yet at then same time, she was glad that his suffering was over. Her tearful face made her look like she was twelve rather then seventeen. She looked up at Lance as he walked over.
"What now?" Her voice was raspy from crying so much.
"Now, we go back to normal. As normal as we can. There's nothing else we can do. I'll go home with Wyre, and you go home to your uncle and then we continue to play and prank and have fun. "
"How can we have fun without him?" Her voice shook with rage.
Lance turned to walk away. "He died so we...so I could be happy. So that's what I'm going to do."
