Candy wizard's Story: part 2Hurriedly, Lance walked through the candy streets with Wyre trailing behind.“Slow down Lance!” She called, breathless. He paused for a second and turned to face her. Down the street he could see the banana guards searching for them. He could feel a hot rage rush into his cheeks. What had he done wrong? The princess had decided to stop believing in magic and that was her issue, not his, right? One of the guards turned in their direction. Inhaling sharply, Lance pulled Wyre down a side alley.“Hey!” She yelled. “You pulled my hair!”“Whipped cream” He corrected her, keeping a look out.“Can we go home? I want breakfast. Who cares about a stupid sunset? This is not how I thought our morning would go.”Lance turned to her furiously. “Well it’s not like being forced to run from our house is ideal for me either.” He instantly regretted speaking.Tears welled up in Wyre’s eyes as she put the pieces together.
Candy Wizard's Story: part 1Lance sat in the corner of his one room apartment and looked out onto the streets of the Candy Kingdom. Though his sister slept just feet away on a small cot, he couldn’t help but feeling a gnawing loneliness inside of him. Though he was only seven in candy-years, he was Princess Bubblegum’s royal Candy Wizard. Rather, Ex-Candy Wizard. He decided that haircuts weren’t important anymore and would just let his hair grow out.Behind him, Wyre stirred a bit. She was recently adopted after her kingdom fell to foreign invaders. For a second Lance regretted taking her in. He wouldn’t be able to take care of her with no money
